Figure 1Figure 2Figures 1, 2 and 3 are full-front views of Tanks 2, 4 and 6 as they appear today.  Tank 2, at a mean experiment-to-date CO2 concentration of 100 ppm, is a wasteland.  Not only have all of its original leaves died, all of its new-vine growth has expired as well, except for a short stub of stem on the right front plant.  Tank 4, at 510 ppm CO2, also has lost all its original leaves, but most of its new growth is in pretty good shape, as are its roots.  Figure 3 Best of all, however, are the plants of Tank 6, at 1070 ppm CO2, where all new growth is in good condition and one and a half of the original leaves are also alive.
