As we wait for the remaining parent leaves to die, the new vines and roots continue to grow.  Mean total root length per plant is still 7 cm in Tanks 1 and 2, but in Tanks 3 and 4 it has increased from 65 cm two weeks ago to 76 cm today, while in Tanks 5 and 6 it has risen from 88 to 102 cm, gaining about a centimeter a day.
