UN Information Sheet 4: How will greenhouse gas levels change in the future?
There is not much to debate in this information sheet, as the text explains that the scenarios described are assumption-driven, and that "different assumptions about sources and sinks give very different results."  So what if we assume that the atmospheric concentration of CO2 stops rising in the near future, due to the enhanced CO2 sequestering power that is conferred upon the planet's vegetation by the ever-increasing aerial fertilization effect of the ever-more-CO2-enriched atmosphere?  Impossible, you say?  Maybe so, but that's what nearly everyone thought about methane just a few years back.
