First-season tube-stock seedlings originally grown in 5-liter pots starting in August 2010 within tall tree chambers, but transferred in October 2010 to 25-liter pots, and in early December 2010 planted one to a chamber into the ground and supplied with 50 g of diammonium phosphate in February 2011, after which the young trees were allowed to grow to a height of 9.5 meter, which height was reached in November 2011, after 15 months of exposure to elevated CO2 at ambient temperature
