Fresh wet weight of Bull kelp (Nereocystis luetkeana) growing for 55 days was determined under normal pH (~8.09) and low UVB (0.08 Wm-2) conditions during the juvenile to late-juvenile stage. Tank temperatures ranged from 11 to 15°C and salinity ranged from 31.2 to 32 ppt. Reduced pH values were obtained by bubbling CO2 enriched air into the experiment tanks.

Fresh wet weight of Bull kelp (Nereocystis luetkeana) growing for 55 days was determined under low pH (~7.58) and low UVB (0.25 Wm-2) conditions during the juvenile to late-juvenile stage. Tank temperatures ranged from 11 to 15°C and salinity ranged from 31.2 to 32 ppt. Reduced pH values were obtained by bubbling CO2 enriched air into the experiment tanks.
