TRUMAN W. IDSO is the chairman of the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change. Truman assumed leadership of the Center in 2025, continuing the mission of his father and grandfather in discovering and disseminating scientific information about the role of carbon dioxide in the environment.

Mr. Idso received a B.S. in Physics from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in physics at the same institution. His research focuses on photoemission phenomena, electron beam brightness, and ultrahigh vacuum systems. He is affiliated with the university’s Photoemission and Bright Beams Lab.
He is also the chairman of the Center for the Study of Electromagnetic Fields and Radiation which publishes a monthly issue titled EMF Physics about the effects (or lack thereof) of electromagnetic radiation on biological matter.
